At SLA, we always start our yoga classes in a very relaxed way. Firstly, we greet each other and start with a short relaxation phase, which helps us to leave the stress of the day behind us and come into the moment. We then move on to various exercises aimed at loosening and stretching our muscles - perfect for staying mobile in everyday life and promoting flexibility.
We place particular emphasis on ensuring that the exercises are suitable for all participants, regardless of their fitness level. Our yoga instructor guides us through a variety of asanas that are suitable for both beginners and advanced practitioners. Each class is carefully planned to create a balance between physical exertion and mental relaxation.
We then train our balance with special exercises that are not only challenging but also super fun. These balance exercises strengthen our body and help to improve concentration and body awareness. Finally, there is a soothing relaxation phase in which we concentrate on breathing and allow the body to calm down.
We really enjoy yoga at SLA and our yoga instructor teaches us the practice professionally and with a lot of heart. Her instructions are clear and understandable, and she makes sure that every participant feels comfortable and makes progress.
